At the action level, the orientation-giving goals and the strategy are often missing. As a substitute, (blind) actionism takes hold as the basis for measures. This means that the resources of people, money and time are not used in a targeted way.
What are the reasons? Often those responsible say: "We have to act quickly now, we don't have time for strategic considerations now!
A fatal statement and announcement! Most of the time, the measures initiated are not very successful or lead to delayed side effects.
The classic: the price reduction. Customers get used to it in no time. An upward price adjustment is difficult to correct.
We have become accustomed to the spontaneous culture of action. In meetings with experts, people outbid each other with creative ideas. Once the ideas are defined, people pat themselves on the back and often leave the implementation to product management and marketing.
Far too rarely developed on the basis of crystal-clear goals and a clear strategy. Too little light is shed on follow-up scenarios.
